Personalized early intervention services delivered in your child’s natural environment
About Me
With over 10 years of experience in special education, I’ve had the privilege of working in public schools, private schools, and in-home settings, always advocating for inclusive practices. My passion is ensuring that every child, regardless of ability, can thrive in a supportive, inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated, and every voice is heard.
In my most recent role at Google’s Children Centers, I led inclusion efforts across four schools, focusing on early childhood education for children from birth to age 5. Although these centers closed in August 2024, my dedication to fostering growth and development remains as strong as ever. I continue to consult with families and organizations, offering support in navigating the complex landscape of early childhood education and disability services.
As I expand my practice to providing 1:1 services in the home, I bring this wealth of experience into each family's unique environment, ensuring that children receive tailored support within their daily routines.
My goal is to provide compassionate, expert guidance. My focus is on delivering in-home early intervention that aligns with the specific goals outlined in your child’s IFSP, ensuring that developmental support is embedded within your family's everyday routines. Together, we can create an empowering path for your child, helping them achieve meaningful growth and reach their fullest potential.
My approach
I provide individualized, one-on-one services in a child’s natural environment, most often in their home. Rooted in family-centered, evidence-based practices, my approach focuses on integrating learning opportunities within daily routines, making it easier for children to generalize skills across settings. By working closely with caregivers, I empower families with strategies that foster their child's growth in real time, strengthening development in the context of familiar, everyday activities.
I prioritize inclusion and developmental appropriateness, using a strengths-based approach that is culturally responsive. My interventions are grounded in Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBIs), which blend developmental and behavioral strategies through play-based learning and parent coaching. These practices enhance key areas such as communication, social-emotional skills, motor development, and cognition.
I believe that effective early intervention is a collaborative partnership that supports each child's unique journey in a nurturing, responsive, and empowering environment.
